Start a Chapter
Lead a local chapter and deliver good sleep for good in your community.
Since 2008, Pajama Jams has provided more than 30,000 pairs of new pajamas to children experiencing adversity. What began as a simple family tradition in Virginia Beach has grown into a powerful community movement. Now, we’re inviting passionate leaders to help us expand even further.
What It Means to Be a Chapter Founder
Chapter Founder is a volunteer leadership role — no special experience is required, just a passion for helping children and the dedication to lead pajama drives in your community.
Chapter Founders are visionary leaders who:
Share Pajama Jams’ mission and values.
Build a local volunteer team to support collection, sorting, and distribution.
Develop partnerships with schools, churches, businesses, and community organizations.
Lead at least one Annual Pajama Drive, with the option to host additional drives or events if desired.
Represent Pajama Jams locally while staying connected to our broader nonprofit family.
What You’ll Receive
We’ll set you up with the tools and support you need to succeed, including:
A Chapter Starter Toolkit with sample flyers, logos, and brand guidelines.
Templates for social media posts, press releases, and community outreach.
Guidance on hosting drives, managing volunteers, and building partnerships.
Ongoing support from Pajama Jams leadership and recognition as part of the growing Pajama Jams network.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking motivated, community-minded leaders who are:
Passionate about children’s wellbeing.
Connected to local schools, churches, or community networks.
Organized and comfortable leading teams.
Excited to build something meaningful in their city.
